The Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme

A membership scheme for individuals who carry out regulated roles with children or protected adults. The scheme includes the continuous monitoring of all scheme members.

Regulated roles are those that meet defined legislative criteria. These typically involve working directly with children or protected adults, or positions of power or influence over these groups.
