Disclosure Scotland helpline hours increased
From Monday 5 October 2026, Disclosure Scotland is extending its helpline opening hours, giving customers an extra day of support each week.
The new helpline hours will be:

Monday to Thursday: 9am to 4pm

Friday: 9am to 3.30pm
This is an increase in service, as the helpline was previously closed on Thursdays to allow staff dedicated time to process disclosure applications and manage casework. Customers can now get in touch with the helpline on five days of the week instead of four.

You can contact Disclosure Scotland on 0300 020 0040 Monday to Thursday: 9am to 4pm and Friday: 9am to 3.30pm.
